Lancaster School of Ballet Faculty

Molly Carey has been teaching young children since 1979. She has a degree in Latin from Franklin and Marshall College and has taught high school Latin in Virginia. While in Virginia, Molly began coaching and teaching gymnastics in the local recreational programs. There she developed a creative movement program for young children.

As a gymnast at F&M Molly began taking dance classes for the enhancement of her floor and beam routines, and she continued to study dance for the fun and beauty of it. She has had the opportunity to coach and assist in the development of two Olympians, and to choreograph routines for gymnasts who have competed in the USAG National Competitions.

Molly has certifications in Movement Education from both the USAIGC (the gymnastics professional organization) and the USAG (The governing body of American gymnastics). She also holds their safety certifications. Currently, she is working towards the Cecchetti Teachers Certification. She has been assisting and teaching at Lancaster School of Ballet for ten years.

 

 

Victoria Coble trained in Moldova at the Choreographic College and the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Moldova. She was a lead dancer with the State Academic Dance Company “Joc” in Moldova and toured the globe with this respected company performing dances and solos from around the world. Her choreography is included in “Joc’s” repertoire. Victoria is a guest faculty member of Lancaster School of Ballet.

Jill Gagliano Locally educated and trained, Jill is best known as the owner of Arabesque Dance and Fitness Wear.  What most may not realize is that she has more than 30 years of dance experience and has choreographed locally for more than 15 years.  In fact, Jill is the resident choreographer for Conestoga Valley High School’s musicals.  She has worked with dancers of all ages and skill levels from local high schools through professional theater groups including Ephrata Performing Arts Center and Ghostlight Theater Company. She also has performed professionally with EPAC, Ghostlight Theater Company, Actor’s Company of Pennsylvania , and Dutch Apple Dinner Theater.  Some of the shows Jill has choreographed are: “Oklahoma” (Conestoga Valley HS), “Mame” (Donegal HS), “Little Shop of Horror”(Millersville University), “Jesus Christ Superstar”(Elizabethtown College), “City of Angels”(Ghostlight Theater Company), and “1776”(EPAC).

Diana Nugent; Received her degree from Philadelphia University (Philadelphia PA) in Business Management.  She has worked as a Dancer, Model, Costume Designer, Choreographer, and Makeup Artist. Diana has an extensive history with the arts. From Syracuse, NY to Philadelphia to Lancaster, Diana has studied with premiere choreographers from the Dance Arts Studio & Center For Movement Studios to the Koresh School of Dance. She has choreographed for numerous theatre companies on the east coast and teaches dance across Pennsylvania. Diana enjoys challenging artists in their craft and brings a loving but professional aura to her classes. Outside of her time teaching dance, Diana sews and does makeup artistry professionally. Diana also leads PRiMA Theatre Company with her husband Mitchell.
